A place in the circle

A Place in the Circle

As a follow-up to last year’s Together to Live/Maamawi Bimaadiziwin forum, the Centre and steering committee members coordinated A place in the circle: Youth life promotion and suicide prevention, a forum held on February 2, 2015 in Thunder Bay. The forum is part of Ontario’s youth suicide prevention plan, which supports Ontario’s Mental Health and Addictions Strategy. The in-person forum focused on life promotion/suicide prevention for First Nations, Inuit, Métis (FNIM) communities. The aim of the forum was to bring together a variety of stakeholders, offer an opportunity to share knowledge and provide an opportunity for networking.

Below you will find resources from the forum. Have a look at the material. Should you have any questions about the event or the materials please contact us.
