The Ontario Centre of Excellence for Child and Youth Mental Health (The Centre) is committed to protecting the privacy of visitors to our website, subscribers to our newsletters and those providing contact information. In addition, The Centre is opposed to unauthorized commercial e-mail delivery, otherwise known as spam.
What information does the Centre collect?
The Centre only collects information provided by the user. This information is provided when website visitors complete one of our online forms (examples include opt in and contact forms). The following list includes ways we collect personal information from our website visitors and the type of information collected:
Electronic (email) newsletters
To register online for our email newsletters we request the following required information: (i) name, (ii) e-mail address and (iii) organization. The provision of an e-mail address is mandatory in order to receive our newsletter. The Centre relies on a third-party service, Mailchimp, to collect contact information and distribute our newsletters.
When someone visits www.togethertolive.ca we use a third-party service, Google Analytics, to collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behavior patterns. We do this to find out things such as the number of visitors to the various parts of the site. This information is only processed in a way which does not identify anyone. We do not make, and do not allow Google to make, any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting our website.
How does the Centre use my information?
Personal information collected by the Centre is used primarily for the purpose in which it is collected: for the distribution of a newsletter or to respond to inquiries or comments from interested recipients.
Does the Centre share my information?
The Centre will not share, rent or sell your personally identifiable information with third parties.
How to opt out
If you have opted in and later desire to opt-out from further receiving our email newsletters, you can make this change at any time by clicking on the unsubscribe URL embedded in the email or newsletter or by emailing email@example.com.

All communication will be related and relevant to what you have requested.
